A new accessible minibus for Clarendon Primary Centre in Hampton

The Victoria Foundation team and The Richmond Golf Club Lady Captain in 2024 - 2025 Fiona Stewart were delighted to attend the unveiling of a new accessible minibus for Clarendon Primary Centre in Hampton and to hear and see the difference it will help to make to so many young lives.

For details of this truly special moment as the new accessible minibus is officially presented to Clarendon Primary Centre - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCfS8Q7EY5s

Clarendon Primary Centre is a 50 place provision for pupils from 4-11 years. Clarendon is a special school for pupils with moderate learning needs, many of whom have additional complex needs including Autism. All pupils attending the school have Education, Health and Care Plans.

The film captures how the minibus will provide new opportunities, greater independence, and unforgettable experiences for pupils with special needs.

TVF would like to thank Fiona Stewart for choosing TVF as the beneficiary charity when she was Lady Captain at The Richmond Golf Club and also all the members for their very generous support where they raised £31,500 in support of The Victoria Foundation which made TVF’s grant of £25,000 to Clarendon Primary Centre possible.

Please get in touch if you can put TVF forward as a beneficiary charity of a Golf Club, Livery Company, Event, Trust, or Business. The funds we would receive could help to fund additional specialist equipment for Kingston Hospital, accessible minibuses which keep the elderly connected, mobility aids which have such a positive impact on young lives, and toolkit grants or elective bursaries which support medical students during their studies to become the NHS doctors of the future.
