Our Mission

The Victoria Foundation’s missions is to transform lives where there is an opportunity to do so - either through the provision of medical support and equipment or by ensuring that those young people destined to become the future generations of doctors are not thwarted by financial restrictions.

We aim  to help as many people as we can now but not, by so doing, jeopardise our ability to help many more people in the future. In the current economic climate this balance is especially important.

We have the ability to be creative in how we support our beneficiaries, and welcome interaction and challenges from both donors and those we assist.

  • The Victoria Foundation is truly grateful to have received an additional six figure donation from The C A W Blackwell Discretionary Will Trust. This very considerable donation will enable the Foundation to increase both the grant amount it awards to medical students facing great financial hardship during their studies and the number of students it supports annually. Grants from ‘The Charles Anthony Walter Blackwell Training Fund’ will be awarded by the Foundation to medical students in real need to help provide study materials, equipment, and travel to hospital or elective placements.
