TVF has awarded a grant of £20,000 towards a new community ambulance for RHN

TVF has awarded a grant of £20,000 to the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) in Putney towards a new community ambulance.

The grant was possible from the proceeds of the live auction at TVF's ball. The urgently needed new community ambulance will help to ensure that patients can go on home visits or social outings with their family who can 'self-drive' the adapted vehicle.

'The new community ambulance will increase the capacity of our fleet, which currently averages at around 900 trips per year. Furthermore, the new ambulance will have a ‘self-drive’ feature enabling families and friends to drive their loved one to activities and redu cing the demand on our ambulance drivers. We expect the new ambulance to arrive in February and become operational in March.'              Richard Grassby-Lewis RHN

TVF would like to thank all those who bid so generously in the live auction at TVF’s Annual Ball in December 2025 which made this grant possible. We are very much looking forwarding to the unveiling of the new community ambulance in April and to hear more about the difference it will make to the patients.
