A new accessible minibus for Bedelsford School in Kingston
The Victoria Foundation team were delighted to attend the unveiling of a new accessible minibus for Bedelsford School in Kingston and to hear and see the difference it will help to make to so many young lives.
‘We could not be more thankful for The Victoria Foundation’s exceptionally generous grant of £30,000. This incredible donation has part funded our new, accessible minibus which will enable our pupils to access a range of off site learning opportunities.
Many of our learners are wheelchair users who require specialist equipment to be able to access the community. Having access to an accessible minibus means that we are able to offer meaningful experiences linked to pupil’s learning intentions, work experience opportunities and topic based learning.
Over the next few weeks, we will be attending a range of exciting activities in the community including work experience at Park Lane Stables and The Richmond Hill Hotel.
Thank you so much again for your remarkable kindness.’
