25KM TREKKING CHALLENGE on 12th SEPTEMBER 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on TVF's Fundraising with the cancellation of events and the loss of income at a time when families and medical students need the charity most.
Are you up for trekking 25km on the Thames in a loop starting from Richmond Bridge and raising much needed funds for TVF on 12th September - within social distance guidelines.
The mass participation 25km bridges event organised by Ultra Challenges has been postponed until September 2021 due to COVID-19.
Startitng from Richmond Bridge you will trek to Kew, Chiswick, Barnes, Hammersmith, Putney crossing the bridges and more ... before looping back to Richmond. You can go at your pace on 12th September or on a date and route that suits you. A drink and snack for mid-way will be provided and after you complete the 25km there will be time to pause and reflect what you have a achieved and a glass of bubbles to celebrate this in these such challenging times. This is a great opportunity to get fit, enjoy the Thames and raise funds for such a great cause.

VIRTUAL TREKKING CHALLENGE
If you would prefer to take on this 25km challenge in stages or on a date that suits you that is possible too. You set the date, the pace, set up a fundraising page, train, ask your friends to sponsor you and then complete the challenge. Please let us know so that we can support your fundraising and send you a t-shirt to train/walk in and a medal & certificate on completion of the challenge.

However you do the challenge it is essential to train and TVF will arrange a number of group training sessions before the trek.
