Petersham Open Gardens - TVF is a beneficiary Charity - POSTPONED until September 6th 2020
The Victoria Foundation is delighted to be one of the beneficiary charities of The Petersham Open Gardens which will hopefully go ahead on 6th September 2020.
The picturesque village of Petersham is excited to host its biennial Open Gardens event. The gates of some of Petersham’s most beautiful and secluded private gardens will be open to visitors in aid of the Petersham Environment Trust, a charity dedicated to help fund environmental causes in the area. A percentage of funds raised will also be donated to a number of charities.
With a variety of gorgeous gardens on show there is something to suit every taste: the grand, the ornate, the natural, the modern-minimalist, the picture-box perfect, the Zen, the quirky and even gardens in the making.
Directions to the gardens will be displayed throughout the village, and an easy-to-follow map will be included in the programme. All gardens are within a ten-minute walk from the Petersham Gate entrance to Richmond Park, opposite the Dysart Arms served by buses 65 and 371 from Richmond station.
“A triumph. Stunning gardens, delicious teas, a real feeling of community. A true taste of village life in London.”
“Our expectations were exceeded, such a treat to see into the gardens of the beautiful houses we pass every day.”
“Absolutely stunning. A wonderful glimpse into this beautiful conservation area by the Thames”
