By kind permission of Baroness van Dedem the Victoria Foundation is able to offer a very special treat for garden lovers and history buffs. This is a rare opportunity to take a tour around the private gardens of one of Richmond‘s most historic and beautiful houses. This event will be hosted by Ronny, Baroness van Dedem.
Group size: 20 guests
Date and time: 18th June 2022, 17.30-19.00
Details: Arrive at 17.30 for a Champagne reception hosted by Ronny, Baroness van Dedem followed by a tour, drinks and canapés in the secret garden.
Originally this was the site of the huge Palace of Richmond, home to medieval kings and the favourite palace of Queen Elizabeth I, all lost after the Civil War. Now the gardens that replace it feature a wide range of fascinating garden styles. The tour will be led by Mark Lucas, Karen Feeney and Doug Pinchin who will tell the story of the Palace in an informative but light hearted way.
