TVF funded accessible minibus providing a shopping service once again for the elderly.

TVF funded accessible minibuses shopping service arranged by Richmond and Kingston Accessible Transport (RAKAT) has been able to restart in July. 

The shopping service is a lifeline for so many elderly people where it is their only opportunity to shop and socialise each week. Many community organisations based in the boroughs of Richmond and Kingston use the TVF funded minibuses which are operated by RAKAT. 

TVF has funded eight accessible minibuses which have supported access at the front and wheelchair access at the rear all of which help to keep our community connected and prevent loneliness and isolation for so many elderly people.
