Launch of VIEWS Art Exhibition celebrating the restoration and refurbishment of The Star and Garter by London Square

Published: 23 May 2016

The Victoria Foundation is delighted to be arranging ‘VIEWS The Star and Garter & its setting’ sponsored by London Square and coordinated by The Asgill House Trust.

‘VIEWS’ will leave a lasting legacy to the restoration of the Star and Garter by London Square. Over 50 new works of art have been commissioned which will include the iconic view made famous by Turner for an exhibition and sale in the grand marble hall at The Star and Garter in Spring 2017 before the Richmond landmark is handed over to its new owners. An accompanying book showcasing the works of art is also being published.  The Victoria Foundation will receive a donation, from the sale of the art and the proceeds from the accompanying book, which will help to fund projects for elderly.
