The Victoria Foundation is delighted to be working in partnership with the Richmond Business and Retail Association to make the 2012 Victorian Evening bigger and better than in 2011. For details of the Victorian Evening 2011 (www.thevictoriafoundation.org.uk/victorianevening) The Victorian Evening, a magical evening which brings businesses, retailers and residents together to celebrate all that is wonderful about Richmond, is being planned for 30th November 2012 with one of the highlights being a count down to the christmas lights being switched on by a special guest. 22nd November - 3rd December 2012 - The Victoria Foundation Vietnam to Cambodia Cycle Challenge
Graham Ball, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Victoria Foundation, would like to invite you to join him on The Victoria Foundation Vietnam to Cambodia Cycle Challenge from 22nd November - 3rd December 2012. This will be a once in a lifetime experience for those taking part. The full cost of the challenge is c£2,400 which includes practically everything - travel, accommodation, food, local guide, UK doctor, bike and mechanical support. The cost to you would be c£1,800 as The Victoria Foundation will cover £600 of the cost as a thank you for your commitment. We are asking each person taking up this challenge to agree to take on a personal fundraising target of £5,000. The charity will of course provide fundraising support to help you achieve this fantastic sum. With a minimum of TEN taking part you will be part of a fantastic team of like minded people who will aim to raise more than £50,000 which will help to improve many lives through providing a range of medical support to those in need. 18th October 2012 - Funny Women Comedy Charity Challenge at Cannizaro House
After the success of our the comedy challenge, in partnership with Funny Women, at the beautiful Cannizaro House in Wimbledon in November last year, we have decided to do it again! Five women from all walks of life will be given just weeks to write and perfect their own stand-up routine with the help of professional comics. Each of the Challengers will perform 3 minutes of stand up comedy to a 'paying' audience and ask their friends, family and contacts to sponsor them. Tickets for this event will be £25 and available from July 2012.
29th September 2012 - The Victoria Foundation Annual Ball - 'The Glitter Ball'
You are invited to The Victoria Foundation's Annual Ball. This year it is 'The Glitter Ball' and will be on 29th September 2012 at the marvellous Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club. Guests will enjoy a sparkling reception, gala dinner including a bottle of wine per guest, be entertained by opera, close up card tricks, have the opportunity to sparkle on the dance floor and win glittering prizes in the auction, raffle and casino. We hope you will join us for this exclusive and glamorous evening to help make it a night to remember and to raise much needed funds to provide medical support to children with special needs in our local community. 15th May 2012 - The Victoria Foundation is on the Richmond Stand at the Jubilee Celebration in Richmond Park
The Victoria Foundation is delighted to have been invited to be part of this fabulous celebration in Richmond Park on 15th May 2012 from 11am - 5pm. We will be on the Richmond Stand in partnership with the Richmond and Business and Retail Association at the Richmond Council and The Royal Parks event celebrating the Queen's Diamond jubilee. 19th April 2012 - The Victoria Foundation is on Stand 90 at the Richmond Business Expo
The Victoria Foundation is delighted to be once again at the Richmond Business Expo at Twickenham Stadium on 19th April 2012. Up to 100 local businesses will be showcasing at this vibrant event. The Victoria Foundation is on Stand 90 and we have some marvellous prizes to be won in a magnificent raffle and also discount vouchers worth over £300 to save at local businesses and restaurants. We will also have news on the Victorian Evening 2012 with Queen Victoria making a special visit to choose the winners of the raffle. Raffle prizes include a Signed Rugby Ball from the London Broncos, Tickets for Afternoon Tea at the Richmond Hill Hotel and the STAR PRIZE - TWO season tickets for London Scottish for the 2012/13 season. 29th January 2012 - Funny Women Charity Show
What better to do on the last Sunday evening in January but come along to the Funny Women Charity Show at the wonderful Orange Tree Theatre. The Victoria Foundation is delighted to once again be the charity partner for this fabulous show which promises to be another great evening of comedy with Suzy Bennett returning as MC. There are lots of wonderful prizes donated by local businesses to be won in the raffle too… for details of prizes

11th November 2011 - Black Tie Dinner and Dance - with Legends of Swing music at Warren House
What better way to start the party season early - a wonderful evening dining with friends at Warren House, followed by live music from top 'Swing Era' tribute act, Ray Lowe - The Legends of Swing. Dance the night away to all-time classics by Sammy Davis Jnr, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Matt Monro and of course Frank Sinatra. Drinks and canapés will be served on arrival, followed by a two course dinner with wine. Guests will also have the opportunity to win fabulous prizes in the raffle, silent auction and try their luck at the casino table. 1st November 2011 - Comedy Charity Challenge at Cannizaro House
The Foundation is delighted to again be partnering with Funny Women for the Funny Women In Business Comedy Charity Challenge at Cannizaro Hotel in Wimbledon on 1st November 2011. We are delighted to have the fabulous Janet Ellis to host the event. Taking to the stage for one night only are businesses women including Gail Downey, Janet Borrow, Kish Modasia, Rachel Merrick and a ‘mystery business woman’.
Not only are the ladies taking on this challenge but they have also each agreed to aim to raise £500 to support The Victoria Foundation. The sponsorship funds raised will help to provide medical support to those in need.
TICKETS are £30 or early bird and friends tickets are £25.
25th September 2011 - 5k fun run/walk
The Victoria Foundation invites you to join our first 5k fun run/walk on 25th September 2011 starting from Cannizaro House in Wimbledon. This promises to be a fabulous event with a relaxed atmosphere suitable for all the family - an ideal event for beginners and experienced runners alike. The race is supported by and is being organised in partnership with The Athena Network.
ALL LEVELS WELCOME - you can run, walk or do both. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and run/walk the course with them.

22nd September 2011 - Annual Supporters Reception at Ham Polo Club - from 5.30pm
Our Annual Supporter Reception will be held on 22nd September 2011 once again at Ham Polo Club. Guests will enjoy an evening of polo, drinks and canapés before hearing from Graham Ball and Lorna Votier on the achievements of the Foundation and plans for the future. Numbers are limited. 17th September 2011 - Great River Race
The Victoria Foundation is delighted to have in partnership with The Richmond Chamber of Commerce a team rowing in the Great River Race on 17th September 2011. Thank you to Academy Signs for sponsoring the flag for the boat.
This is London's River Marathon - a spectacular boat race which attracts over 300 crews from all over the globe. Each team member has pledged to raise £500 to support our Special Wheels Appeal to help provide a much needed fully-accessible 15 seat mini-bus which will help ensure many local residents who are elderly, frail or medically infirm have the opportunity to leave their home and continue life as part of the community and disabled children and young people are able to go on educational and social outings helping to expand their horizons.

6th - 14th March 2011 - The Great Wall Challenge
On 6th March our Great Wall Challenge Team will leave Heathrow and travel to Beijing to take part in this challenge. The team are aiming to raise £50,000 - 100% of the funds raised will help to improve many lives through the medical support they will provide. The Foundation is delighted to be the beneficiary charity of the S L Privee Fashion Show on 16th March at ParVinu in St Margaret’s.
